I saved the entire Artemis II video stream (60GB, 230 hours, 1080p) if anyone wants it.

Fire up your BitTorrent client and get this: https://data.nicolas17.xyz/NASA-ArtemisII-Live-Mission-Coverage-m3kR2KK8TEs.mkv.torrent
Based on the number of likes/reposts vs number of actual downloads, I guess kids these days don't know how to use BitTorrent anymore. I'll try to upload it to Internet Archive but it will take a while.
-
@controlfreak I think this is mostly valuable for archival and to cut clips from. Nobody's gonna watch the 230 hours from beginning to end. But many things that happened during the mission are not available anywhere else, unless they were already clipped from this stream.

@controlfreak There was another 24/7 stream showing only images from the outside of the capsule. If the camera or downlink weren't working, you got blue screen, no interviews or any other filler.
Someone else already saved that here: https://archive.org/details/artemis-ii-live-views-from-orion/

Okay, I uploaded the Artemis II stream to Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/nasa-artemis-ii-primarystream
Will probably take hours for IA to process the file. And if a hundred people try to download from IA and it gets slow, well... that's why I posted a torrent

@nicolas17 IA also serves torrents for downloads from there, so when that's processed you might want to link to that one as well and start seeding it either instead or in addition.

@x0 I knew of that but I thought this file would exceed IA's size limit for deriving a torrent. To my surprise it didn't!

@nicolas17 I didn't know there was a size limit, I thought the torrents were explicitly best for the huuuuge files.

@nicolas17 You'll be pleased to kno that one of my servers, on a 1 gigabit uplink to the internet is now seeding your torrent, and I've also put the file itself on one of my web servers, that has a 10 gigabit uplink, and I'll also put it in my object storage and put that link out publicly once I get it there. This thing ain't going anywhere now!
Again thanks for doing this. -
