Lars Haur – Csasiodiskk
Experimental electronic minimalism with roots in ambient, IDM, noise, and early academic electronica.
Csasiodiskk, by Lars Haur
Csasiodiskk by Lars Haur, released 26 February 2026 1. I 2. II 3. III 4. IV 5. V Csasiodiskk was created entirely using a Casio Portasound, the iPad app "skippodisk"—software that deliberately simulates read errors on compact discs—and a delay/reverb pedal whose particularly airy and hollow sound became the central sonic element. The production process was characterized by playful experimentation and a conscious reduction to just a few tools. It was precisely this limitation that opened up unexpected sonic spaces and gave the album its unique, fragile aesthetic. Lars Haur is known for his sonic creations, is the writer of the music blog Fringes Of Sound, and is the curator of Error Prone Records.

Dufourd & Demoulin – Michrochimères
A diverse and exciting collection of post ambient tunes built from widely variegated tones and sound sources.
Microchimères, by Dufourd & Demoulin
Microchimères by Dufourd & Demoulin, released 21 November 2025 1. Sans Moi 2. Finir Par Avancer 3. Hors-Sol 4. _______________________________________________________________________ Michrochimères is the second collaborative album between Julien Demoulin and Frédéric Dufourd, following Entre Chien et Loup (2022, Rusted Tone Recordings). It is the result of crossed wanderings, each piece born from a process of successive mutations, where sounds contaminate each other and recombine. Playful and spontaneous, serious and dreamy, welcoming and intimate. It is ambient music which fosters closeness; which is warm, embodied... human. Slowly morphing synth pads cradle everyday sounds, homemade instruments, and spontaneous contributions from family members, friends and talented neighbors. Silences, imperfections, accidents and misunderstandings are readily embraced and organically integrated as composition material. Throughout, these pieces offer shelter against the increasing dehumanization and disintegration of the world. They invite contemplation and reconnection with nature, as well as the most essential of emotions. During the creation of this album, Julien explored the diverse lives and dreams of people in pre-neoliberal America through the pages of Studs Terkel's Working, while Fred followed Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel's performative walk Vers Nulle Part, a 2,255-kilometer trek inspired by Werner Herzog's Of Walking in Ice. Listeners should not be surprised if they hear echoes of these influences along the path.

Finally, if you're a fan, or have found it useful to you as a musician or music lover, consider throwing me a dollar or five -- capitalism is as inescapable as gravity at the moment, and every dollar I earn this way is a dollar I don't have to make doing something awful.
