In the past, traffic originated from traditional search engines, and SEO determined who got found first. Now the traffic is increasingly coming from AI crawlers and agents that demand structured data within the often-unstructured Web that was built for humans."

@AAKL Many thoughts on this.
Sooo LLMs as first class citizens are an absolutely not for me. They are unwelcome on anything I create.
But what they are describing sounds like "Give us an API but shittily designed with no concern for the things you think about when producing an API.
On a complete other side, I feel like Cloudflair is stumbling into an Actually Good Idea that they are missing - making websites in Markdown.
Gemini (protocol) is a good idea. Markdown is well known in the technical space. Why NOT have a class of websites that are served in Markdown instead of HTML? (Okay some aesthetic stuff and again, some templating fearures could make that work a lot better, but let's ignore that for the immediate conversation)
It's lightweight, safe, and good for content driven sites like blogs and articles.
This piece COULD WORK.
But why make it LLM centric?
