    @mayintoronto Canadian sorry: the kind of sorry you tell doors that accidentally close on you.

    Sorry 😅

    @EdwinG Canadian sorry is a manner of speech, like a local filler to signify that you care.

    It has absolutely nothing to do with apologies.

          @mayintoronto

          “Login” is always a noun; “log in” is the verb form. Ditto for “logout” / “log out.” In computer interfaces, button labels should be imperative verbs, therefore buttons that say “login” and “logout” are mislabeled.

            SAFe is antithetical to good software development.

                  Poutine.

                  Gotta be real curds, french fries, and gravy or brown sauce.

                    @mayintoronto And another two (related)

                    International System of Units (and related metric units) everywhere: km, m^3, l, kg, MW, mW, K, °C, etc. etc. etc.

                    Units of data follow the ISU standard: 1TB = 1000GB
                    The binary system of measurement is 1TiB = 1024GB

                    @EdwinG
                    But do you use spaces or commas to group sets of three digits, e.g. 23 000? In Canada we're supposed to do so in English as well as in French.

                    @mayintoronto

                      @mpjgregoire Only when it becomes difficult to read, so usually 5-6 digits or more.

                      @mayintoronto
