I hate to always be so cynical and negative, but it appears to me that Star Trek's producers did what they did with the finale's end credits sequence just in case Season 2 gets "Batgirled."

It was completely filmed and then Warner Bros never released it. They never even sold it to anyone else. Season 2 of Starfleet Academy has been completely filmed.

@punkonbuslives I was very confused by it as well. The words were about the characters but the pics were the actors when younger. Ocam wasn’t there, nor was Chancellor Kelrec.
If it was a goodbye insurance policy a lot were omitted. War college? Bridge Crew?
