A couple more spiders today, albeit neither new species for 2026.

This tiny juvenile Nosferatu spider (Zoropsis spinimana) has been sitting on the wall of my office all afternoon, supervising me.

Hence my taking its picture & making it almost famous

If it manages to catch enough insects in here, it will get a lot bigger ...

Second, another of the jumping spider species we have in the garden.

This is a copper sun jumper (Heliophanus cupreus; Kupfrige Sonnenspringspinne), & from the light-coloured palps, likely a female.

And switching to the insect side of the arthropod phylum, here's a bee feeding just before the sun set over the valley.

I think it's a white-bellied mining bee (Andrena gravida; Weiße Bindensandbiene), although some confirmation (or not) would be helpful.
