@hobbs "panned" means it wasn't well liked by critics.
I had a hard time with some of my choices too.

@Robavince Can appreciate for the Enemy Zero nod alone. That game slaps.

It's how I can tell someone actually played a Saturn is when they can't help but talk about games on the saturn! (A system I grew up with and also can't stop talking about it)

@Bogusmeatfactory Sega Saturn is my very favorite console. I also grew up with it and the Net Link modem! It was my entire Internet until 1999 when my family final got me a PC for my 17th Christmas.
Enemy Zero is fascinating because it's the first time a Western classical composer fully scored a game soundtrack.
And Michael Nyman, the composer, is very good. 🤘

@Robavince the saturn is even wilder in Japan. The Zork 1 port with music by Yuzo Koshiro, a version of the social MMO Habitat... the system was extremely ahead of its time and the games coming out for it were this amazing mix of artistry, music and game design.

@Bogusmeatfactory Online console gaming in 1996 (or did the Net Link games come in 97?). It was awesome.
