hey #mac folks: I bought an M3 macbook pro last year. I’m still on the most recent OS version before liquid glass (I don’t care about their names anymore, and don’t want to “upgrade”)
Periodically, there is system-wide typing lag. Like… many seconds where I can move the cursor and click on stuff, but typing specifically just hangs and won’t input. Sometimes it all appears; usually whatever I typed is lost.
I don’t think I have anything installed like TextExpander that watches input.

this happens much more when Godot engine is open, and I’m typing in another app like safari.
But it’s definitely happening even when I just have Safari, Music, and a couple other system apps running.
I do have utilities like 1Password, SoundSource, and Alfred running, that have never given me trouble before. All of this started after I had the laptop for around 3-4 months, and has persisted intermittently for 2-3.
Has anybody else run into this?
