In planning my west coast getaway, I stumbled upon a #WineAndCheese tasting at #VesselLiquor, a private liquor store in #VictoriaBC.
It was an casual, convivial tasting with some honkin' generous portions of #cheese, provided by Ottavio Italian Bakery & Delicatessan Cafe.
The pairings were well planned, & while I'm not a fan of Chardonnay, they picked a refreshing unoaked one, aged in concrete & explained how California gave the varietal a bad rep.
It was a full-on "#girldinner".
If you're a local or even visiting like me (there were a couple out-of-towners, which suprised the host), definitely check out the classes at Vessel Liquor, at Fort St. & Oak Bay Ave.
