@VeroniqueB99 This reminds me of one of Neal Stephenson's books (Snowcrash?) where one of the characters has Poor Impulse Control or something like it tattooed on his forehead as a warning to the public prior to his release.

@VeroniqueB99 It's unlikely that's a permanent tattoo. It even looks painted-on, but regardless, forehead tattoos would be *incredibly* painful to get.

I like this idea. In the movie "Keeping the Faith", the bartender played by Brian George says,
"May those who love us, love us. And those who don't love us - may God turn their hearts. And if He cannot turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles, so that we may know them by their limping."
That tattoo is a turned ankle.
