    Many talk of the impact genAI slop is having on the quality of search. Without wanting to lean into conspiracy, that is surely advantageous for BigAI in that they can then pivot the demand for search and discovery toward their own tooling.

    Perhaps enshittification and eventual abandon of traditional browser search is part of a longer market play, including for Google and MS.

      @JulianOliver There is no chance any of these companies think that far ahead. They can barely figure out Friday on Monday morning.
