Some further #enshittification of GitHub.
Unsure if it’s an A/B test or I’ve simply not encountered this previously, but GitHub seems to now require people to login to an account to browse repositories. I fail to understand the end game here.
I’m literally simply trying to get to the readme of an open source project because that’s where it’s hosted but I can’t do that unless I log in to an account.

@t0xiccode I just checked a few projects and I'm not seeing that behaviour (yet). Not a surprise that they're trying it.

@WTL I was on iOS Firefox, not sure if that affects things…
