while i have somewhat of a bias towards acoustic over electric, i do have real respect for folks that devote as much time, practice, and care to their electric sounds as an acoustic musician does to their tone.
hendrix, billy gibbons, so many others found some sequence of effects combined with playing techniques to give use truly new sounds.
