@jebeyer i love/hate scanning down big compilations where i don't know any artists (or just missed your Whistling Kitty moniker in this case...) & can't quite figure out if it's listed as 'artist - song title' or 'song title - artist'. so often it could roll either way

Whistling Kitty is track 18. I haven't listened to the other tracks yet, so I can't comment on their quality.

Dissociation puts on shows around OKC/Norman and is just generally trying to promote a scene, so these are people who have or had some connection to that area.

honestly, I have a tendency to skip compilations like this. It's just so much content with so little information - like you said, sometimes it's not even clear what the artist name is, let alone who they are or where you might find more of their stuff if you do like it.

@jebeyer ha yeah i clocked yours eventually, haven't given it a spin yet tho....i'm with you on the comps, i generally don't love doing them exactly but i still do here and there. good if there's folks outside of your normal fan base who might be listening, so it's always good getting your tunes in new ears.

i kinda love that confusion of 'wait what's even going on here' w/ music tho, be it the tracklist or the music itself. something new to keep the brain tickled 🧠
