    There lots of interesting stuff in Carole Cadwalladr's latest blog on the Broligarchy's 'war on journalism'...

    following the money, she has also uncovered a funding link between Tortoise Media (newish owners of The Observer - her old employer) and Saudi Arabia sovereign funding (via a US private equity house).

    As always her blog is detailed & full of only just controlled anger, but if you're interested in the political economy of the media, a must read.
