Today it’s a lively jaunt on a Eurostar e320 from St Pancras to Rotterdam, and from there to Utrecht for the @erpu social meetup. Joining me today are Wendy the DBJUNGLESKOG and @seabass.
I got my Eurostar Plus reservation long before @seabass got their standard class reservation, and neither the Eurostar app nor the help desk were able to help me demote myself to standard so that we can sit together. I am going to appeal to the train manager once we are underway, but I suspect it’s going to be a lost cause

Taking the opportunity to rate the croissant aboard a Eurostar: not as good as a DB one. Better than a Renfe one.
Still miles better than an SNCF one, but that is by default, as they don’t carry any on board…

I have discovered Beyond #Darklands is on this week. Normally I discover this because a number of people I follow on Fedi and Telegram are obviously there or going there/back. This year I discovered it because there a large number of people on this train wearing chain collars with Mohawks, and I decide to look up the date on the website
