@_slowly @keepassxc I was also confused that I needed to pick my bank first. But I just scanned the QR code I got for my bank in my Wero app (my bank had the Wero logo above the QR code, Sparkasse shows its own app logo, so it might be a Sparkasse issue because they implement Wero in their own app?)

yeah when I clicked the sparkasse link on desktop, I see a qr code that i can scan with wero. this works fine.
But when I select my bank on mobile, I just get redirected to the banking app's wero module with no recipient selected... so sending money to a wallet with only a phone does not work. Is this realy the wanted behaviour, that i need a dekstop AND a phone?

It's a test run. We'll evaluate how popular this actually is and whether it's worth the hassle.

@keepassxc To enable payments via WERO, I think you have to provide the QR-Code or the correspond email address. The link does not work for me.

@sparfindig The QR code would do the same. The only way I could imagine it to make a difference is if you scan it from within the app. But then why would it even bother opening when you scan it externally? This looks like a bug to me.

@compfu Your name (with last name as asterisks if you haven't checked the full name reveal option).
Edit: in the transaction list on the actual checking account it always shows your full name with a Wero transaction ID. So it seems that the asterisks are rather useless. -

That makes sense though, as it's always tied to a bank account and a normal SEPA transaction would also reveal your name.

@keepassxc @73CC Wero worked! I was a bit confused at first that your Wero link pointed to a page where I needed to select my bank. I thought it would just directly be a QR code like you can generate from the Wero app. After I selected my bank I got a QR code that was supposed to open Wero on my phone but didn't. But that's not your fault I guess. This all happened on Wero's official site after all.
@compfu @keepassxc @73CC for me, the Wero link did not work. I think this is my bank's app's fault, though. After selecting my bank, the app opens (good) but does not pre-fill anything. I would have to search for the recipient there (for which I don't have the necessary information).
If you could add a qr code, that might help, but I am not 100% sure.
