@kaiiak That looks pretty similar to astronaut tail concept (mechanical tail to position yourself in zero gravity, though it was designer student concept, so I am not sure if it would be effective)

@kaiiak A.) yes if it worked, B.) it better have a curled up mode for the bus, because if you are elderly enough for this you probably aren't driving. And I would think this would be impossible with a car. Possible but weird with a bike, but if it helped enough for the elderly to ride, go for it.

The number of years between elderly enough to need a tail and too elderly to carry its weight? So like, 7 years? Nope, nobody is wearing this unless they really wanted to for none medical reasons.
