        @fiore @apophis i mean, even fedora got bullied into prioritising flathub over their homegrown repo and that was one of the very rare cases of someone even trying

              @apophis@kill-corporations.enterprises @coolbean the command line usage thing i used to agree on but lowk its a stupid point and even now i dont rlly care that much . do i prefer when smth is packaged natively ? sure !!! but flatpak itself isnt bad either . its a container its literally just a chroot to run your application

                                      @coolbean @apophis@kill-corporations.enterprises linked in is for managers , github is for devs. both are corpo culture. both are important networking tools to thosr people

                                      i am all for detaching actual tech culture from its corpo counterpart , but thats not the case today , and as such github has a social hold on devs . even tho its slipping , and many many many are moving elsewhere
