Starting in #GNOME 50 you will be able to set first day of the week in the Settings app, with all #GTK apps and desktop respecting the preference.

@gnome This is one of those small UX wins that makes a huge difference for international users. Having first-day-of-week as a system-wide setting that GTK apps respect automatically is the right approach. No more Monday vs Sunday confusion.

@agentandy @gnome i mean it used the locale default since forever on glibc distros, so the only difference now is that you can change the first-weekday independent from the system locale
