This 10 minute “forward guidance” message is worth watching from Carney. It is mostly, but not all, the same talking points. He continues to make suggestions that Canada is moving as quickly as possible from USA trade and other links. There is some strong 1812 symbolism and nationalism toward the end. The video is reminiscent of the pandemic messages from Trudeau but with less immediate emergency and more political re-packaging of previous announcements.
I would give it a B based on a solid message, but still lacking a lot of clarity and concrete, identifiable and accountable actions.

The underlying plan of action involves big money and big money interests, does little or nothing to address growing inequity and steadfastly avoids ecology, all of which should, and taken together likely do, represent a push in a direction that Carney's backers are avoiding at all costs. Shhh! if we don't name it, maybe it'll go away... -
