@danirabbit I recently went to a concert. The band has been getting more and more scathing in their sarcastic jabbing at certain ignorant stereotypes. I was *shocked* at the number of people in the audience who were the target of that sarcasm and still LOVED it. It became painfully clear: this country is addicted to violence and vengeance. They don't even notice if it's aimed at their face, as long as they can cheer on what they perceive as aggression.

@danirabbit structurally there are two main mechanisms.

First as others have mentioned he should be removed from office with the 25th Amendment. (It should probably have already happened with all his cognitive tests he began about but...) If launching a genocidal war crime against 90 million people isn't grounds for removal nothing is.

Second, if orders are given, they are almost certainly illegal and should be ignored. That's why those Dem veterans cut the ad last year reminding officers.

It’s easier and faster to impeach him and remove him. The 25th only works for POTUSs who are physically incapacitated, say in the ICU or having suffered a debilitating stroke.
