Roll 196769c02: UC Riverside (early 1967)
An early roll taken during my first term as a Highlander photographer. All these photos were taken on Kodak 2475 Recording Film.
One: A "Horrorthon" of movies out on the bell tower lawn. Some couples appear to be paying less attention to the movie being shown at this point in the evening.

Two: A "grange." This was the traditional name for a total drunken debauch, an all-you-can-drink affair at some place rented off-campus but an integral part of a week of partying at UCR called "Scots on the Rocks." Interestingly, this word "grange" that had been used regularly for years seems to have disappeared after 1967, due probably to the general shift on campus to marijuana. All these photos are shown in the order in which they were taken.
