There are a lot of reasons for the downfall of the #USA but a big one is the purchase of traditional #media by plutocrat goons
-
-
Hitler also made a lot of money from sales of “Mein Kampf” during his reign…
-
@benroyce But it's true. You just need to understand that the "us" in the headline refers to billionaires.
-
@benroyce The title should have been “In the long run, war make them safer and richer, and us poorer and dead”
And by them I meant peoples who stirred this s***t up for there own benefits. -
Indeed…
-
@benroyce Fashington post spreading fashist lies... i.e. the stuff is going as expected since bezos bought it

-
@benroyce jesus christ
-
@benroyce Opinion: In the short run, eating billionaires is healthy for society.
-
@benroyce That headline prompts only one question: "Which 'us', specifically?"
-
-
@benroyce
It breaks my heart that groups seem to find it easier to use physical violence than non-physical methods of coercion, like economic (or other) sanctions. -
@jamesmarshall @benroyce I don't blame you for not wanting to go to their site. Here's an archive.ph link: https://archive.ph/Uiu60
The author apparently is one Ian Morris claiming to be a professor at Stanford (I don't even have to look up this person's history to learn they were born into privilege do I?)
Interestingly this was written back in 2014 apparently. They were also running hit pieces against Obama.
I didn't realize they were this bad even that long ago.@nazokiyoubinbou thanks for the source and context. For I don't believe any post anymore without source. @jamesmarshall @benroyce

@benroyce For context, this article is from 25 Apr 2014.
-
@benroyce Please say that it's 14 years old! When did Bezos buy the WP?
Until now I trusted your posts. But using content in such wild combinations, sorry ... -
@benroyce@mastodon.social yeah, the “us” is the plutocrats.

I can't get over that someone consciously decided to include "and richer" in that headline. Wasn't it bad enough before?
