Russia announces temporary ceasefire for May 8-9
The Russian Ministry of Defense has officially announced the establishment of a temporary ceasefire regime on the territory of Ukraine. The truce will be in effect on May 8 and 9 of this year. This decision was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The statement from the Russian defense ministry links this step to the celebration of Victory Day. The ceasefire is limited to a two-day period. -
