so forza horizon 6’s recreation of tokyo is really cool and all, but it makes me wonder: what do the people of tokyo do while the horizon festival is going on?

like, tokyo has a population of over 10 million people, tons of them rely on walking around the city, but they just… can’t anymore? sure, some of the sidewalks have barriers protecting pedestrians, but how are they supposed to cross the street without getting hit by some lunatic racer going 100+ mph down a city street?

not to mention that there is way less traffic on the roads than what should exist in a city this large. does the entire city just move out during the festival? where do they relocate to? or is it more of a covid-19 lockdown situation?
