Would Fedi folks be interested in an OggCamp or EMF Camp style event in the Boston area? Even if it's a small, fledgling one to start?
NOTE: Thinking of Boston, MA, US here. For me. Because it's closer.
But if I could get to the UK easily/cheaply, I'd go to the originals!It's interesting, but it's unlikely that I'd be able to travel to an event in Boston.
Nowadays there are a lot of events where I watch the posted videos on PeerTube or YouTube. That's likely what I'd do if they're posted.

@wcbdata Fair enough, I'm vaguely tempted to try and organise a mini geek camp near #Manchester UK for a year when #EMFCamp isn't on. Would be a lot smaller scale, but more accessible than indoor events like #OggCamp because #CovidIsNotOver
