    Listening to at least 5 of the 10 hours (!) of the new SDE of Yes' 1973 "masterpiece" Tales from Topographic Oceans at work today. I could be eating burritos and farting up a storm, and I'd have more visitors to my cubicle… HR may have been notified…

        @Sanderde Haven't got to that hour yet, still working on it! New mixes, remixes, instrumental mixes, in progress recordings, live recordings… It's four songs! 10 hours of four songs!

          @GrumpusNation

          I must check it out. I spent hours listening to the original album in our basement on my first very own stereo.

            @Sanderde I… I think I need a spreadsheet to listen to this, to carefully annotate variations and discrepancies, and assign overall scores, if I'm gonna get through this a second time before I expire…

              @Sanderde If you don’t want to pay out for the physical copy, it is streaming and/or for sale on iTunes for the must-be-an-error price of $17.99…

                  @Sanderde I need to figure out a way to pollute the kids’ playlists with it…

                    @GrumpusNation

                    I’ve started listening to the SDE OF Tales of Topographic Oceans. The last time I listened to it has to be well over 40 years since I last listened to it but because I played it so many times when it came out I still remember a lot of it and can sing/hum along.

                      @Sanderde That’s surprising, because in the list of hummable Yes songs, these have all got to be pretty down at the bottom…

                        It’s mostly during the Wakeman fills I hum along.
