It seems the corporate IT cyber chiefs have decreed no more USB drives… they’re also removing local admin so we can’t install software. I absolutely cannot use my own computer to do any work for my employer… at which point it will be impossible for me to do my job.
I feel some #maliciouscompliance coming on.

I love shit like this as a network engineer, where I need USB-Serial adapters and terminal programs that nobody else in the company needs.

@kajer @botvolution yup. Honestly it’s a complete shitshow. There isn’t even an ssh client available. Almost as if the people coming up with these policies have no idea what any of us actually do.
