If Trump thinks the US doesn't need their bases in Germany any longer, Germany should cancel all the contracts and give the US a six months deadline to remove all of their stuff - and they'd be scrambling to haul the crap ton of equipment out of here and it'd cost them hundreds of millions of dollars to do so.Furthermore, if the EU (and Iceland) decide F U 47, their ability to project actual force becomes extremely limited. If Canada plays nice with the EU, the US can't project more than a carrier group's worth of force AT ALL, and even then, only for as long as the carrier's food is enough to get them home... which, well, for the Strait of Hormuz, _ain't_. (Unless one of his Arab buddies can provision him... but they sure don't have a carrier-size port... it'd have to be relayed...) Still. It's gonna be INTERESTING.. .

@stonebear2 @duncan_blues @VeroniqueB99 The places the 5th Fleet would usually resupply are inside the Gulf. That's why they're having issues. Without those ports they have to go all the way to the Mediterranean to find supplies.
