@Gina it's the same in Germany. When using the official website provided by the state, for the first few years I had to google even after reading every single of their "help" texts. No wonder there are third-party software providers out there who you can pay to essentially give you better help texts, I bet it's easy money for them

No wonder accountants make out like bandits. The older I get, the more I realise that life is far too short to deal with such insane pedantic minutia, and I find it money very well-spent. (I have a PhD and also am too dumb for this stuff.)
