Iskender (live at Auran Panimo) 10. Gendis (live at Auran Panimo) These tracks, carefully restored from mini-disc archives, are demo recordings for an album release, made in Turku in the early 2000's. Originally intended as the debut album for Mesak. The music was re-recorded in a crappy basement studio in Offenbach-am-Main (near Frankfurt) in May 2001. Due to "unforeseen circumstances" the album wasn't released as planned. Instead, it was released in 2002 by the studio's owner, with mostly incorrect credits... These original demos offer a more direct approach compared to the studio versions (which, on the other hand, feature improved mixes and more complex compositions). Notably, some tracks on the 2002 release are identical to these demo mixes, while others underwent significant changes during the studio process. Several demo takes were recorded originally. This compilation presents the hand-picked, most interesting versions. And are all previously unreleased. BONUS! In addition to the demo takes, this collection also includes live recordings from the Reclaim The Streets afterparty at the legendary Auran Panimo venue in Turku, The party took place in the summer of 2000.

@chorist hm not given it a detailed listen but it definitely felt like it was sorta reconstructed from samples & presets & such, wouldn't surprise me if there was some AI-gen vocals or whatnot! didn't catch it on the first listens if so, but either way, the release ended up pretty interesting. idk anything about the artist at all, could be worth looking into.
