Serious question on the recent lawsuit against Meta and Google on the addictive property of their platforms. Google is pushing back that YouTube isn’t a social media platform. But it has people you follow, has hashtags, has posts, and is constantly begging for interaction. Isn’t this basically the definition of social media platforms?
