Yes, it is built in Wales (UK), but the (all important) profits are exported from the UK subsiduary to Head Office in Virginia USA. The vehicle has proved to be poorly-designed causing nausea & injury to occupants. Lazy and incompetent procurement processes in UK going back a decade need to be reversed.

The USA did buy Hawker Harriers for their navy.Can't think of anything else. However at the time those were unique. Mad the UK retired them without a replacement while USA was still using them.
