@VeroniqueB99 water can be seen as entitlements but if you look at UK, privatizing water has resulted in the system squeezed for profit till it collapses. Medicare is better than lepers lining the sidewalks. Social Security is better than seniors dying homeless on the streets. Libertarianism is just Feudalism with a new name. Feudalism died for good reasons.

@VeroniqueB99 They ARE entitlements. That's the term used for govt earmarks that are outside of budgetary discretion. That's intentional, to prevent Congress from cutting them. Congress wants an aircraft carrier? They can't use Grandma's pension or healthcare to pay for it.
