As a data analyst, I've mostly avoided AI up until now. It's pushed more each day at work by people who don't work in IT and who believe AI is worth the water/power cost. I can already see the AI downsides as my company has severe analysis paralysis. Is there a career pivot to consider, or should I get out of IT altogether? Tyia for advice. Boosts appreciated. #noai

@arcadia I wouldn't make any big decisions until the AI bubble pops and we can see what useful scraps are actually left over.

@arcadia One fear is droves of excessed It workers, plus new grads who aren't getting jobs, descending to ransomware, identity theft, and other "I'll get mine" behavior in response to the executive-level "who needs people" decisions.
