Well, the current rental market in NI is, predictably, bollocks for renters. This is going to be a fucking ordeal. I'm going to go and start boxing up my books for something to do that isn't sitting here and crying.

Just to make it clear: we're not in danger of becoming unhoused. My parents can take us in if needs be. It is extremely non-ideal, because my parents live in a very small house, but we will always have a roof over our heads and I know that is a significant privilege.
I'm just upset because we've lived here for seven years; I did, in fact, think of it as my home; and now when I look around, all I can see is something that was never mine and has now been snatched away from me.
Landlords are parasites.
