    FBI and IRS to investigate nonprofit groups for domestic terrorism links, sources say

    In December, Attorney General Pam Bondi ordered law enforcement officials to prioritize efforts to probe and prosecute groups and individuals belonging to the antifa movement or are deemed "extremist."

        Um. More prison cells than any other country in the world? (Ever?)

        That isn’t exactly the problem

          The entire administration and those in government supporting it would handily fit in all the concentration camps currently planned or under construction.

              @evacide

              When the press reports the truth now, Donald Trump considers it domestic terrorism?

              When in a hole, Donald Trump never stops digging. He digs a deeper hole, then blames everyone else for putting him in it.

              It's not news to you, of course, but this goes beyond Trump. His billionaire patrons want to control the media, so no one can hold them or their political courtiers to account. Or learn enough and organize enough to oppose them.

                  @evacide @petko it really doesn't have to go that far, if the banks can be made nervous enough, they might debank organisations opposed to the administration. The assholes in the Whitehouse then don't have to lift a finger.

                            @evacide oh this is completely normal behavior for a trustworthy, compassionate, and just government! RAID THE NON-PROFITS!!! THAT’S WHERE THE TERRORISTS ARE HIDING OUT! How about raid the non-profits being fed by shell companies that link back to organized crime outfits involved in violence, human trafficking, dangerous drug distribution and somehow never get much attention except watch and wait?

                                    @evacide At least the EFF lawyers will stand up for what's right. Unlike those white-shoe firms who flopped over on their backs before anything even happened to them.

                                        @evacide @petko it really doesn't have to go that far, if the banks can be made nervous enough, they might debank organisations opposed to the administration. The assholes in the Whitehouse then don't have to lift a finger.

                                        @InfosecStuC
                                        This already happened in Germany, non-profit organizations are being reviewed, some already lost their tax exemption status for being too political.
                                        Debanking happened recently for two antifascist organizations (it is speculated due to pressure through the Swift system) which was reverted after a public outcry.
