    @LightHouse_Dann @LibertyOverGov

    fuck the united states but tiananmen square and {gestures broadly at the totalitarian cruelty of north korea} proves that your take is quite absurd

    what i'm saying is we can oppose the fascism in the usa without letting the fascism in other countries off the hook

    a principled stand would be to oppose china, north korea, and the usa, all at the same time

    @benroyce @LibertyOverGov I wasn't agreeing with or siding with China or North Korea.The point of the comment was that even in countries like those the people are willing and actually try to oust a Dictator leader.
    I never said if they win or not.
    I didn't say anything about my even caring about those countries.

    The comment was pointing out that the American people are doing little to save their democracy and, "any other country, "even" North Korea and China, would fight for their rights.

      @LukefromDC @LibertyOverGov

      i agree. you have the moral and logical stand

      however, there's plenty of people in the cemetery who had the moral and logical stand

      all i am saying is that we need to fight back smart. and certainly in the heat of the situation we can't magically think up the ideal response. so a kick in the head is appropriate, according to me, and you

      just be aware what that means in the minds of the brownshirts

          High school students were peacefully protesting when police allegedly escalated it after claiming snowballs were thrown. The chief in plainclothes put a teenage girl in a chokehold before others stepped in to protect her.

          The best assistance you can provide in a case like this is to hit that 'chief' really hard on his throat. He will be choking and probably need emergency 1st aid, but he won't do this again any time soon.

              this is anodyne content that anyone on social media sees all the time

              your instinct here is to censor police brutality, which only allows police brutality to occur unseen. your instinct is helping police brutality, unintentionally

                  A chokehold by a grown man on a teenage girl is child abuse 100% of the time.

                        well then respect us in the usa who are going through this trauma, who need examples of police brutality broadcast as far as can be seen to help fight it

                        if you don't want to see it you can block or unfollow

                        but what you can't do is gatekeep on our abuse for the sake of your need for an antiseptic timeline

                        if it was gore or pornography, you could. but it isn't, so you can't

                        all you are doing is helping police brutality by hiding it. you are in the wrong here

                                @nanowiz @LibertyOverGov The Quakers have been under police and government surveillance for decades. This isn't an unusual thing happening. Especially in Pennsylvania (where I grew up).

                                    Snowballs. A local police chief flies into a rage, assaulting a teen girl, because students threw snowballs.

                                    The chief should be fired and sent to mandatory residential mental health facility for six months.

                                      Looks like the guy was the local police chief, but not in uniform, and he gets clobbered by the kids after he choke holds the girl. There are also other men involved.

                                          "Videos circulating online offer a fragmented glimpse of the confrontation. In one clip, a man is seen grabbing a teenage girl and placing her in a chokehold. A male student rushes in and strikes the man, after which police officers move in and take the student into custody. Other footage shows protest signs scattered across the sidewalk, speckled with blood, and a teenage girl in handcuffs with blood visible along the side of her face."
