@alynna @djsundog @babe i don't bother with prompts on anything other than my main PC, i custom made it using ohmyzsh

it would be easy to transfer

@willegible @babe sometimes you just need a computer to work and don't want to be futzing with stuff, I get it.

If you are looking at this thread as a windows user and thinking 'wtf are all the linux nerds doing, I want to join in!' there is also a neofetch (and uwufetch) CLI tool for windows, so you can (no pressure)

@Sylvhem @eragon If you look for places that do hen party attire (like etsy) some do custom print thongs, that's where my arch and xfce ones came from (although obvs I no longer use xfce)

I initially installed arch for the meme and so I could dunk on uptight people from a position of parity and then I found the AUR and refuse to go back

@babe @Sylvhem @eragon fun memes and dunks aside, the AUR and its accessibility for diy-ing and sharing packages for stuff you want to use is pretty much the reason Arch has such widespread appeal.

@emma @Sylvhem @eragon A lot of people think it's an absolute pain in the dick (and tbh I have had a couple of hiccups, but that's true of any distro) but I think I have been lazier using arch thanks to the AUR and the yay wrapper than on any other distro.
So much less bother with trying to find and install packages

@babe any distro becomes a pain if and when they break. With Arch you at least have a bunch of uber-nerds who break their systems all the time doing weird ass-setups for fun and whatever. And at least some of them have probably documented how to fix any decently common problems

And yea, yay is just great

@JenJen If you can get someone to help you install it, the package is available here https://github.com/ad-oliviero/uwufetch (thank you @posiputt). It isn't one available on Mint in a simpler form.
Although there are instructions on that github page (look at the "From source" section) if you feel like giving it a try
