@babe @Sylvhem @eragon fun memes and dunks aside, the AUR and its accessibility for diy-ing and sharing packages for stuff you want to use is pretty much the reason Arch has such widespread appeal.

@emma @Sylvhem @eragon A lot of people think it's an absolute pain in the dick (and tbh I have had a couple of hiccups, but that's true of any distro) but I think I have been lazier using arch thanks to the AUR and the yay wrapper than on any other distro.
So much less bother with trying to find and install packages

@babe any distro becomes a pain if and when they break. With Arch you at least have a bunch of uber-nerds who break their systems all the time doing weird ass-setups for fun and whatever. And at least some of them have probably documented how to fix any decently common problems
