I haven't listened to modal/droney dark terrorizing folk guitar playing for a long time, most of it seems too clean, too nice. Yet THIS is dirty and dark and almost limitless, a steam locomotive just before the boiler explodes.
No wonder her battled guitar was made by "Waterloo".
Gwenifer Raymond makes me cry.

@jrp @xinniw saw her play at a small festival a couple of years ago, amazing set.
Felt very familiar and sort of cosy, but also fresh and exciting. Incredibly highly skilled but without that being the reason the music is good, just a necessary ability to produce the amazing sounding music.
