      @jilleduffy I mean, I have used a Point of Sale system and I would certainly describe it as a POS.

        @jilleduffy

        I literally read it as point of sales but audibly call it a piece of shit so people remember it better, particularly through training.

        Training is always so dull for employees so when I could work and train when it wasn't video or computer based training I liked spicing up training in ways that my employees would NEVER forget very specific(but boring) things. Even though I unfortunately forgot a bulk of my employees faces and names let alone which job I was training them in.

          @jilleduffy
          Like TELL ME WHAT'S GOING TO BE MORE MEMORABLE!
          A monotonous doning on and on about the importance and integrity of legal tender/currency, and what to do if the register is malfunctioning, OR the weird lady saying something that's NOT offensive but considered taboo to help you remember key acronyms of a register job.

          Working in a cash office is also a big deal so like. Not having to reteach an employee during a rush is extremely important.
          Anyways my CEO days weren't a POS company.

            @jilleduffy it was a sub contracted-company for stuff in a different company I was originally training to be regional corporate or legal exec in.

            It also became popular at many retailer companies and they then went on without me and kinda destroyed more companies than you would believe.

            Sucked. Didn't even KNOW I WAS CEO.
