Cannot recommend this game enough, y'all.
Four characters (fifth on some missions for various reasons) and everything along the spectrum from perfect stealth to TRUE DOOM MURDER is valid as a tactic*
Trese Brothers are rare, dedicated to constant, frequent improvements over long times (a decade or more) without releasing DLC, every game they release is absolutely worth the money.
*pure combat missions exist where stealth is not valid.

@NinjaDebugger almost every day someone recommends this game
I played the demo before release and honestly it was a bit underwhelming. It felt like Invisible Inc. and XCOM and a bit like Frozen Synapse, but trying to do _everything_ at once: combat, stealth, squad management - it didn't feel cohesive or structured. To me it was a very messy demo experience and I quickly gave up. From what I hear it's a really good, deep game but then when I watched some gameplay it still feels chaotic (presentation and UI-wise) and unfocused, like a soup of all the ideas I love thrown together. -

The base-building parts are a pretty small part of the game, and so far you only have to choose one building not to build, though that will change over time.
The UI is not a large priority, but uh... 3 people on this game, and it does see upgrades.

@NinjaDebugger I understand that it's a smaller project
I'm really impressed by the development, I saw how many updates it got already. I also watched an interview with them some time ago and they seem like.. I don't know, just nice humans, which is great. -

@NinjaDebugger I just bought the game on Steam, I feel that even if I don't love Cyber Knights, it's a project worth supporting. You're an influencer now

@okr Oh no. I've become an influencer. Now I have no choice but to sell out.
