The EPC (European Political Community) was proposed by Pres. Macron and established in 2022 independently from other European orgs like the EU.
Trigger to its founding was the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. It is a forum for like-minded free European countries to collaborate strategically.
In 2026, Canada joined as the first non-European country.
I think you should know that as we all know _why_ Canada joined.
