Humanwords.cc used, Sharkey, a variant of MissKey Fedi,
Sharkey had some nice tools, its Magnet search tools held potential, and its user summary were very nice,
But, it didn't allow following hash tags well, (when used within a magnet) and the web interface on mobile was very awkward to use.
HumanWords.party uses +Hometown
