@superbetsy It happens, a friend and I were racing each on our bikes to get ice cream after class and he hit a divot in the road. He did a 180 flip in the air and landed on his shoulder and broke his collar bone.

@superbetsy don't turn sharply because instead of just falling off your bike your front tire will catch in the grooves of the road and you will be launched head first into the pavement?... i'm guessing?? looks like thats supposed to be a tire that got turned into a groove almost..
how many times has it happened for it to become a sign?! +_+@dumdumdelish @superbetsy It's for tram tracks. They are a hazard to bikes as the wheel gets stuck in the groove.
It's not a very good sign though. Looks like there is no front wheel on the bike, which does indeed make it a bit dangerous.

@superbetsy Reminds me of when I was a kid and ran directly into an end of road fence with my motorcycle. Same result.

I've done this maneuver by trying to go through a pot hole instead of around, it hurts! Broke two of my front teeth and had to have some surgery done. -

@Simplicator @superbetsy not kidding: “Superman” and “Yard Sale” are common lingo for cycling crashes. The latter being such a tumble everything flies out of your pockets. It’s all over the grass like a yard sale
