NEW | Greece opens investigation after complaint by Hind Rajab Foundation over war crimes in Gaza

Greek authorities have launched a preliminary investigation following a legal complaint filed in Athens by the Hind Rajab Foundation, alongside Greek lawyers including Thanasis Kampagiannis, against Israeli official Israel Katz.

The complaint reports responsibility for war crimes, torture, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Gaza, with Kampagiannis testifying before authorities and additional evidence submitted.

A key part of the case focuses on the interception of Global Sumud flotilla vessels, including recent attacks near Greek waters where activists were abducted in international waters.
