    For years the only writing I did with a pen was my signature on docs, everything else being on a keyboard or phone. Today when writing a page in longhand I discovered that I can no longer grip a pen properly. I've lost something through atrophy. Don't be like me, kids.

      @fesshole
      It’s interesting how our bodies change through the years, isn’t it?

        @fesshole No joke. I wrote a page long note by hand last week and I really struggled.

          @fesshole practice. I started a diary in longhand because it's basically a secret code by now. But my handwriting is much more fluid now, and I even got the writer's bump back on my middle finger.

            @fesshole I got as far as "Hap" before fucking up my mum's Mother's Day card this year. And to be honest the H looked more like an M

              @fesshole I had to re-send solicitors docs when buying my current house because they wouldn't believe that it was all signed by the same person and thought I was doing a fraud. Twice.

                @fesshole I thought a trophy was when you won something.

                  @fesshole Don't worry. In a while keyboards will be 'old tech' that only geriatrics use. Not sure yet what will be the main new tech method, but it's coming for sure.

                    @_calmdowndear @fesshole so they actually care?

                    It's not quite the same, but when I have to sign my name for a parcel delivery on a stupidly small screen with my finger, it's not even close to my normal signature, or even my actual name sometimes...

                    It seems a bit pointless.
