Things I’ve learned as an Elder Milennial, solo dad:
- Home ownership is extremely unlikely for single parents without significant assistance
- The patriarchy is still perpetuated by old men in power, who won’t let go
- Billionaires (or plutocrats) shouldn’t exist
- No one is coming to help me
- No one is holding the rich/ruling class accountable in America
- Religion should NEVER be involved in government
- “Credit” is just another way of creating indentured servitude
- Leaders must be chosen very carefully. Ethics and morals should be considered before ever letting anyone become a leader
- You cannot fix others, you must hold them accountable
- cPTSD is normal (and expected) in late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD individuals
- The lower and middle class did not have access to autistic or adhd diagnosing, it was gatekept
- Children should be taught more about the nervous system, sensory input, psychology, and the endocrine systems
- Never shame, or perpetuate the lie, that ADHD meds are bad for those they are prescribed
- Early access to experienced clinical providers along with an empathetic understanding into the functionally different nervous systems of ADHD, autism, and AuDHD is key (this is still gatekept)
- Men are more likely to go silent with their struggles
- Capitalism is worse than fascism, it has money, it will perpetuate an indentured class and ruling class
- The environment and biodiversity are threatened by people. They do not have defenders. They must be protected by those who understand global stewardship and ethical obligation -
