        I spent a good deal of the day sobbing yesterday. I'm involved in a lawsuit and I had to fill out a really detailed questionnaire which meant I had to look up all these small details and I ended up spending like 6 hours knee deep in horrible memories. I kept getting frustrated and sobbing and my neck hurt and my head was pounding. It was a really bad day. I'm trying to recuperate today. I need happy #funny #movies. What are your favorite happy movies when you need to stop crying and feel some comfort? #cinema #cinephile

        @Phangurl
        Sorry to hear that 😔

        I’m going to suggest Hot Fuzz as my comfort comedy.

            Spirited Away
            My Neighbor Totoro
            The Princess Bride

            Not a movie, but the sci Fi show Eureka usually gives me happy vibes.

            Hope you feel better soon!

              @Phangurl

              When I'm really stressed I watch Howl's Moving Castle.

              I've seen it so many times it's just reassuring to have it on, but I started to realize it's more than that. I thought it was because the characters were comforting to be around, and that's part of it too.

              But I finally realized that the whole soundtrack, from the music, to the sound effects, to the voices, is soothing to my every nerve in a way that nothing else does?

              No idea if that works for anybody else, LOL! 😂

                    @5ciFiGirl @Phangurl I get that way with things I have a happy emotional attachment to... Although I find that music alone can already be distracting to me, actual tv/movies/shows are way more so.

                    But feeling that you are among friends/companions/etc. can be very reassuring and crank up those good feels.

                      @Phangurl I’m sorry to hear that. I’m usually just watching Star Trek (well not the movies). Otherwise I turn to my favorite, Blade Runner: The Final Cut.
